What You Need to Know About Media Materials

All written stories and digital photos and videos contained in NOHFH Website, are the sole and exclusive property of Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity. (NOHFH) and/or its affiliated entities. NOHFH grants staff and volunteers of NOHFH and its affiliated entities the right to use the materials for Habitat for Humanity business purposes only. NOHFH may revoke these rights at any time for any reason by written notice to the user.

HFHI.

All written stories and digital photos and videos contained in DAN (Digital Asset Network) are the sole and exclusive property of Habitat for Humanity International, Inc. (HFHI) and/or its affiliated entities. HFHI grants staff and volunteers of HFHI and its affiliated entities the right to use the materials for Habitat for Humanity business purposes only. HFHI may revoke these rights at any time for any reason by written notice to the user.

Use of these materials is intended for the presentation and promotion of the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Any other use is a violation of these terms of use and the rights of HFHI.

Photos may be cropped and sized to your specifications and altered in color and density and filtration to suit your needs, but their content may not be altered in any way without express, written permission from HFHI.

How to credit stories, photos and videos for NOHFH.

  • Stories used in print, on the web or elsewhere should be credited in the same manner in which they appear in the article either credited to the writer with the job title and Habitat for Humanity affiliation (for example: By Jane Doe, NOHFH director) or to the Habitat for Humanity staff (for example: By the staff of Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity).
  • Videos used on the web or elsewhere already contain credit to the appropriate Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
  • APA if you need to write a reference to our main site you can use this format:
