Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity hosts events – large and small – throughout the year to raise awareness, engage volunteers and garner funds.
Habitat is best known for engaging people from all walks of life in rolling up their sleeves and lending their hands to our efforts, but you don’t always have to swing a hammer to help! Your financial support, your time and your voice can help create a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Support and learn more about Northern Ocean Habitat by attending events throughout the year like Walk to Build in Lavallette, A Night of Hope in Bay Head or monthly volunteer orientations! Explore our calendar below.
Habitat for Humanity’s National Women Build Week is an annual weeklong event created by Habitat’s Women Build program in partnership with Lowe’s. The program invites women to devote at least one day to help families build strength, stability and independence through housing. The week is meant to spotlight the homeownership challenges faced by women. Learn more here.
The second annual A Night of Hope – Habitat at the Grenville will be held on Friday, June 8, 20178, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Grenville Hotel & Restaurant in Bay Head. Join us for a cocktail-attire evening as we partner with our community friends on the barrier island and honor our dedicated volunteers, sponsors and partners.
The third annual Walk to Build family fun walk will be on Saturday, September 8 in Lavallette, in conjunction with Lavallette Founder’s Day. Walk with us in solidarity as we raise awareness and funds for affordable housing. Register now!
In addition to our signature events, we have plenty more happening throughout the year! Check out our full calendar of events to see everything from fundraisers to volunteer orientations.
