Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity is excited to host the second Walk to Build family fun walk, on Saturday, September 9, in conjunction with Lavallette Founder’s Day. Walkers will gather at Dover Avenue on the Lavallette boardwalk for a 3 mile walk to raise awareness and funds for affordable housing efforts in northern Ocean County. The Lavallette Founder’s Day celebration will follow on Bay Boulevard and Philadelphia Avenue from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Participants can register online at nohfh.com/w2b for $20, or the day of the event for $25. Event day registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the walk beginning promptly at 10 a.m. Proceeds will benefit those in need of safe, affordable housing in northern Ocean County.
